Sheltered sowing is intended for all seedlings that take place before April. It would indeed be too early to sow outdoors and your crops could freeze...
Sowing technique under shelter:
- Choose a location with a temperature above 10/12° and preferably around 15°.
This place should be bright, preferably in a greenhouse but the proximity of a window may be sufficient.
- Take a special seedling soil whose presence of perlite will promote drainage and aeration.
- Then sow your seeds according to the method of sowing in terrine.
Smart advice of sowing under shelter:
- A seedling under shelter should, ideally, have 12 hours of light per day!
