Very cultivated in the Mediterranean basin, the green anise, small anise, Pimpinelle or even odorous Boucage, is cultivated for its qualities of condiment, aromatic and medicinal plant. The small white flowers in umbels appear from June to August. It is mainly its seeds which represent the main interest of the green anise: they are harvested at the end of the summer.
